Celebrating Tianna Xander's Newest Release

Today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating a new release for Tianna Xander that has it all - time travel, sci fi and shapeshifters rolled into an sexy Old West menage.

WHERE THERE IS HOPE by Tianna Xander

Taos Wolven Mates Book Two

When Hope Ackerman is kidnapped by two of the hottest young men she has ever seen, she's more worried about their age than the fact they're werewolves from another planet. Taken from her world and into the Old West, can she overcome the fact she's an older woman lusting after two younger men…or is she?

When the sentient warship Carella flings Braxton Nylund and Joran Keavy into the future to find their mate, they waste no time snatching the beauty up when they find her. Returning to the nineteenth century, the two men must convince Hope that not only are they meant to be together, but they aren't as young as they appear.

Can the three find a way to live, laugh, and love together in the past, or will Hope insist they return her to her empty life in the future?

Tianna Xander is the author of several paranormal, time-travel and science fiction romance novels. She loves reading everything from romance novels, murder mysteries and encyclopedias, to handbooks on solar energy. Tianna is the first to admit she spends far too much time surfing the internet and chatting with her online friends and critique groups.

Having written several novels and working on at least one more at any given time -- Tianna still finds time for her family, friends and her many pets. She currently lives in Michigan with her husband, two children, three cats, two big dogs and one occasionally terrorized Netherland Dwarf bunny. Her life is anything but boring.

  1. Happy Release Day Tianna!!!

Wow - this story has it all and then some! Time-travel, Sci Fi adventure, the Old West, a cougar heroine, alien wolf-shifter heroes and a red hot menage romance!

Tell us how this book came to be and how it crossed so many subgenres. And for those not familiar with your Taos Wolven Mates Series, can you tell us more about it and how the books fit together?

And be sure to tell us what you have coming up next for us!

Enjoy your cyber launch party and I hope WHERE THERE IS HOPE (love that title, btw) is a huge bestseller for you!

    Have fun!

  2. Thanks, DeNita!

I dreamed up the entire series because most of the romances I've seen lately always seemed to have a younger heroine falling for young guys. When I read one about an older woman falling for a man, I tried to pu myself in the heroine's shoes, so-to-speak, and found that I couldn't.

Then the what ifs started. What if the men weren't human? Would that make a difference? What if they weren't really younger and what if they just didn't age the way we do?

There were a few more what ifs, but if I tell them it will give away one of the surprise twists for this series that I hope touches on nearly every woman's fantasies.

What's coming up next is book 3 of the Taos Wolven Mates, The Water Dragon, and Book 2 of my Scottish polar bear shifter series. I hope to have them all release by the middle of January. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Comment today for your chance to win two free books! A PDF of book one of the Taos Wolven Mates series, Mail-Order Bride and the PDF of your choice from my backlist. If I get a LOT of reader comments, I'll not only give away the books, but I'll add a 'grand prize' of a crystal bracelet and earring set designed by Mystical Mayhem Jewelry. Good luck, everyone!

  3. This series sounds cool. Have you always loved the paranormal genre?

    1. Vanessa N.

Actually, I used to like historicals more than anything until I picked up a copy of Christine Feehan's Dark Prince that was in a bag of books that a friend gave to me. That was nearly twenty years ago. I still read historical from time to time, but my love is paranormal now.

      Thanks for asking!

  4. Congrats on the new release. This book sounds fantastic. Can't wait to read it. How many books will be in the Taos Wolven Mates series? Just the three or more?

    1. Joanne,

Thank you, Joanne! I think the Taos Wolven Mates series will most likely have more than three. I tend to write books in long series. LOL Take the Paradise series, for instance. It has 12 books so far and more on the way. :-)

  5. Ooh, I love the premise for this series, Tianna! And I LOVE that you never run out of ideas! Do you write full time? If not, how do you fit in your writing time? Thank you so much for writing (I know that it is a discipline, even when you love it!) and for sharing these amazing stories with us!

  6. flchen,

Thank you for such high praise! I know it seems like it's easy sometimes, but it's really difficult when you're juggling a fulltime job and a family that thinks you're playing games when you're really writing or doing promotional activities. lol

I write before work, on my way to and from work, on my breaks and after work instead of watching TV. You're right, it is a discipline. :-)

  7. I absolutely love everything you write. I have all the Paradise books, I just bought When There is Hope, and already have the first book, too. I loved it and the premise of the new series. I love to win stuff, but I already have all your books. I have the Triad books, both in print and on my Kindle, and I'm eagerly awaiting the next DARE book with Viola Grace (I have all her books, too). Keep up the great work! Phyllis Butcher

  8. Thank you so much, Phyllis! I'm glad you like them. I've come to realize that I don't get as much enjoyment out of a book where the heroine is young and hardbodied. I'd rather read a book that has a character more like me -- older and a bit on the full figured side. How can I put myself in the heroine's shoes if I can't relate to her?

I love writing the Taos Wolven Mates series because I love writing about shifters and I also love the fact that my heroines can be from anywhere. I'm sure that sooner or later, another one of them will be from the past and possibly there will be one from the future. The possibilities are almost endless with this.

    Thanks you for your comment!
