The novel combines many aspects I love reading and love writing: characters that haunt me with dialogue years after I've given them voice, humor, violence, and gray areas of right and wrong where good doesn't necessarily triumph without a little help from the dark side. :)

Kelley, in Enchanted Meadow I see on the cover that the beautiful woman is not thin and waif looking but more Rubenesque. Did you decide to make her more luscious looking on purpose? I think it's great that authors betray women looking more human instead of anorexic.

ReplyDeleteThe Enchanted Meadow is a short, erotic fantasy romance. I decided I wanted my heroine to be a tree faery because I am fascinated with tree faery lore. My faeries are not the tiny Tinkerbell type faeries, but are human-sized and usually shape-shifters.

ReplyDeleteThank you. Sometimes, it depends on the subject how it ties to a time of year. Most often, though, it comes down to when the editing/proofreading has been completed. Once the books hit that point, we start talking about release dates.
