LUST UNDONE by Desiree Holt
Returning to her home state of Maine to investigate a possible Chupacabra killing, Sophia Black meets Clint Beaudine, lean, dark and sexy. The heat between them is incendiary, the sex erotic and the pleasure beyond her imagination. Clint fulfills all her fantasies and teaches her ways to please him. The Maine air might be cold but in Sophia’s motel room it’s beyond boiling.
Clint helps her with her case, using his knowledge of the area in which he grew up. As they learn each other’s secrets it’s obvious to both of them that they are meant to be together. Mated. But the Chupacabra is out in the snow, hunting human prey.

STRONG ARMS OF THE LAW by Cerise DeLand
No woman has ever resisted him either. But the saucy little number he guards now under witness protection makes him nuts. Hard. And eager to put her in her place…which is, of course, in his arms. And his bed.
Crime writer Skye Chamberlain chafes under Rex’s rigid rules. He’s too macho, too yummy to stay cooped up with and remain celibate.
So when she calls his bluff and demands they embrace their relationship now instead of later, he can’t resist her appeal. But his need to keep her hot and happy makes him drop his guard and trouble finds them.

ReplyDeleteshadow_kohler@att.net
Good morning everyone! DElighted to be here to celebrate Desiree's newest and my own!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the intro, DeNita!
And Shadow, research can be a little or a lot, depending on the subject.
For ex.,Desiree and I write an erotic series together. All are thrillers and get off to a roaring start..with the hero and heroine and their relationship. Then TROUBLE walks in the door. That Trouble takes us time to research and figure out how to use it!
Today, we are going to give away quite a few prizes.
ReplyDeleteWe have search and reward for a few of them.
What do we mean?
We ask a question and you send us the answer.
The one who gets it right first wins.
What do we have?
BOOKS!
And a grand prize, too. A bag of goodies.
SOOOOO...you must leave your email address in your answer so that we can get in touch AND send the big one to the winner in the mail!
Good morning! Congrats on your new releases. Your books wonderful! Is it hard coming up with new plots for a new book in a series? What are some of your favorite authors? Do you have a favorite book that you've wrote? Thank you!
ReplyDeletetonyapeterson35@yahoo.com
FIRST QUESTION from CERISE:
ReplyDeleteMy latest release stars a hero who is a TEXAS RANGER.
How many other books have I written starring the men in the white hats who are part of this law enforcement branch in my home state?
(You can go to my website and learn:
www.cerisedeland.com)
Good morning, everyone. It's so great to be here today. And what great questions.
ReplyDeleteFirst-research. Both Cerise and I do extensive research on our books, especially with locations and, a sin our thriller series, nemesis, with things such as types of explosives, drug wars, art theft, etc. We also have human resources we can tap into. One of the most important things to us is getting it right.
Next answer coming up
What do I love most about being an author. Boy, that's hard to choose. I love creating characters and seeing them come to life on the pages of the book. But I also love the feedback from people who enjoy my books. Then I know I'm doing something right! LOL!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book that I've written? Boy, it's hard to choose. I think it's probably a tie between Rodeo Heat and Downstroke.
ReplyDeleteAnd here's MY first question.
ReplyDeleteWhat are the names of the first two Night Seeker books? Find out at www.desireeholt.com
desiree: lust unleashed, lust moonlight
ReplyDeletecerise: do you have 5 books?
ReplyDeleteoops. ment lust by moonlight and lust unleashed
ReplyDeleteHey everyone! The books sound hot! Both are going on my TBR list.
ReplyDeletecersie: 4 books
ReplyDeletedesiree: lust unleashed and lust by moonlight
Good morning ladies! :) I'm going to say 4 books. Lust unleashed and Lust by Moonlight. I'm so glad to be here with you :D
ReplyDeleteleanne_gag[at]hotmail[dot]com

ReplyDeletemaw1725@gmail.com
Good Morning!! :D Congratulations, Desiree & Cerise, on your new releases! It must be exciting!:) Do you get a copy of your book before it goes out on bookshelves, for others to read? Hey everyone! Well, shadowkohler was in first with the correct answer so she gets her choice of a book from my backlist. Let me know you see this post and include your email addy.
ReplyDeleteNext question coming up in a minute.
Thanks desiree! ill go check out your books now! my email is shadow_kohler@att.net
ReplyDeletethank you!
I'm still here hanging out in the background :D Gotta work on my blog posts :D
ReplyDeleteDestiny, Sorry it took so long to answer your questions. For ebooks we receive them the same day they are released. For print books sometimes before sometimes not. Depends on how the publisher handles it. I always give each of my kids a copy but they just keep them in a file or on the desk! LOL! They can;t read anything Mama writes about sex.
ReplyDeleteHey Leanne! Keep hanging around. I've got more questions coming! *wink*
ReplyDeleteThis is for Tonya. Favorite authors. Hmm. Sos very many. Beside my partner Cerise there is Regina Carlysle, the fabulous Joey Hill, Shannon Stacey, Sherryl Woods. Too many to name. I know I'll leave out someone important.
ReplyDeleteHey Audra,
ReplyDeleteI don't know what Cerise writes to because we write in different locations but I write to reruns of Walker Texas Ranger! LOL!
Okay, next question. In which of my books are Cole and Lara the hero and heroine?
ReplyDeleteHello ladies! Congrats on the hot new releases! I'll try to check back this afternoon for more of your questions.
ReplyDeleteuser1123 AT comcast DOT net
Lol! That's funny! :) If you were my mom, I wouldn't care, I'd still read your book. lol :D Brb, Gotta do the scavenger hunt! Lol. :D This is fun! :D

ReplyDeleteDang it! Congrats...I still love The Bargain. In fact Desiree, it was my first book of yours to read.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to tease you with a blurb about one of my latest releases, Hard Lovin'. It's based on an old Irish song recorded by The Kingston Trio.
ReplyDeleteErin Braddock, daughter of wealthy and powerful rancher Rance Braddock, has been to hell and back. So has wandering cowboy minstrel Grady Sinclair. But the moment they meet chemistry ignites between them, erasing everything else. The sex is scorching, explosive, addictive. They can’t get enough each other. The same talented fingers that coax seductive music from his guitar coax powerful orgasms from her body. Seduced by his music as well as the sinfully sexy man himself, Erin runs away with him. Nights she sits in the bar listening to his come-to-me voice promising her the erotic delights he delivers on when they’re back in their room. But will the past follow them or can they build a future together, in and out of bed?
Wow, Harlie.I'm so glad you liked it. It's the only book any of my kids have read. My older daughter did a first read for me and loved it.
ReplyDeleteIn a moment I'm going to post a blurb for the Nemesis series Cerise and I are writing. Then I'll have another question.
ReplyDeletewow! hard lovin' sounds hot! and it really is a tease! lol
ReplyDeleteHard Lovin' is a real love story. Hope you read it. So okay, here's the setup for Nemesis, the series Cerise and I are writing.
ReplyDeleteNemesis: The name itself is synonymous with vengeance, retribution, adversary. And all those apply to the agency that bears that name and the five women who run it. Alpha women who have earned their stripes the hard way, the begin as a partnership of two with others joining them along the way. The cases they take range from the sensitive yet corrupt playing field of politics to the underside of terrorism and narcotics. Founded by Nicole Welles in her home town of San Antonio, Texas, the first partner to be added is Madison Blake, staffer to a high profile senator in Washington, D.C. until a crisis makes the office too dangerous to be in. When she and Nicole, classmates from the University of Colorado, run into each other, she gratefully accepts Nicole’s help in the terrifying situation.
Each book will feature one of the partners as the central character, with Nicole’s story the final one in the series. With the agency in San Antonio it provides the opportunity for stories dealing with the always tricky Texas politics as well as the violent drug scene. But stories will also be set in Washington, D.C., Paris, Venice and even the Middle East.
No case is too difficult for them, as they each bring specific qualities to the table. All are proficient in a number of different fire arms as well as communications gear and self defense tactics. They can appear and disappear like ghosts, leaving no trace they’d been there, or appear boldly in public to through their enemies off the track.
The five partners are:
Madison, Dan, Adam, Nicole, Lane
ReplyDeleteRight? Wrong? I've read Madison/Dan and Adam/Nicole books.
Close enough, Harlie! I forgot Book 3 isn't out yet. Give me your email addy and everyone else? Another question pretty soon.
ReplyDeletemadison, nicole, isabella, mia, dont know
ReplyDeleteMadison, Nicole, Isabella, Mia, Idk the other one. lol
ReplyDeletedang..i thought it was five woman..lol
ReplyDeletemaw1725@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteThat was a tough one, actually. I even reviewed Nicole's book. LOL!
i agree harlie. i read all the blurbs and excerpts...couldnt figur it out. :P
ReplyDeleteWell, this was a little tricky one because yes, there are five women but the men become partners, also.
ReplyDeleteSo Harlie, give me your email addy and make your choice.
Next blurb:
ReplyDeleteTell me which book this describes:
Buying a ranch on eBay was the wildest thing Autumn Kelley had ever done. Past forty, she’d pretty much written excitement out of her life. But then she discovers the ranch comes with a foreman who makes her pulse pound and could give her an orgasm just by looking at her. As if that isn’t enough, he has a friend equally as mouthwatering—and the two of them take Autumn on an erotic trip that outdoes any fantasy she could ever have imagined. If sex with one hot boy toy is fantastic, sex with two at the same time is a whole new level of amazing. But what happens when Autumn inevitably has to come down from the orgasmic high?

ReplyDelete:) I won one of your contest earlier, I was told to send you my email address, I did, but I wasn't sure your got it. :)
ReplyDeleteKohlerPeterson@aol.com

ReplyDeleteAngela Reynolds doesn’t need a gorgeous older man pursuing her while she asserts her independence professionally and personally. But hotel magnate Stephen Montoya won’t permit this vibrant beauty to escape him. When he demands she kiss him each time she enters and leaves a room, the two of them discover that some passions cannot be denied—or tamed.

i picked a book. can i have Lady Varney’s Risqué? (is that one, one of the choices?) please and thank you!
ReplyDeletewhat do you do if you have writer block?
ReplyDeleteDesiree and I are very fortunate in that we live not far from each other (think, 25 miles) and we belong to the same RWA chapter. We have known each other for years...maybe 11 now, but only began to work together 2 years ago.
ReplyDeleteNEMESIS--all the UNTIL titled books, are the results!
I know one of you has read UNTIL MIDNIGHT, but if you like thrillers--and LOTS OF GREAT SEX and a Happily Ever AFter, hope you read more of them.
I 'll post another question here for a winner.....
ReplyDeletelet me go find something....
I do one of four things.
ReplyDelete1. Walk away from the computer totally. Read a book.
2. Work on another manuscript, switch back and forth
3. Stay at the computer but do research or promo
4. Brainstorm with my good friend and partner Cerise.
the reading a book sounds good to me! :)
ReplyDeleteShadow: YES a copy of LADY VARNEY'S RISQUE BUSINESS!
ReplyDeleteDO EMAIL ME at cerise.deland@ymail.com and tell me how you liked it!
And I have some new books to read. Yay!
ReplyDeleteBGTW, if you aren;t on my mailing list when you go to my web site be sure to sign up. I'll be doing another Special Edition shortly.
Waving to Desiree!
ReplyDeleteYOU HAVE WRITERS BLOCK? nahhhh.

Yes! Walker! DEeinitely.
ReplyDeletei will definitely let you know! i seen this book the other day and wanted it so bad. i cant remember where tho. i read the blurb, and just that part was good! :)
ReplyDeleteShadow, you make my heart sing.
ReplyDeleteOkay. One big question for a prize of one of the books that fits this description from my EC contemporaries only:
ReplyDeleteI love to travel and have lived in quite a few countries.
To date, the 2 countries where I take my readers most often are:
(Hint: not in the same novel)
running an errand and back in about an hour....
ReplyDeleteim glad. :) i cant wait to see what happens between them. your blurb is a tease. :P
ReplyDeleteParis & Tuscany? :)
ReplyDeleteNumber 1 please Mr. Hope ummm oops wrong show.. #1 Cerise pls. and Thank you:D
ReplyDeleteis it usa and europe?
ReplyDeleteWhile we're waiting for Cerise to return, here's another question. Who are the hero and heroine of my 100th release?
ReplyDeleteAnd while you're on my web site, be sure to register for my newsletter,
All of the above Desiree lol Cerise I found out about this from you both at oir last chat lol. :D
ReplyDeleteCerise isn't it Texas and Tuscany
ReplyDeleteCharley Roper and Dallas Creed
ReplyDeleteBtw, Desiree I have most of your books already so the prize should go to someone else pls. :D
ReplyDeleteI just like hanging out and trivia lol
desiree, What was the hardest part to write in the books? Have you ever wrote a book and later wished you could change something in it?Which comes first? The character's story or the idea for the novel? :)
ReplyDeleteDesiree did you start with writing bondage in your books right away or did you work yourself up to that and how did you get started into writing it.
ReplyDeleteCerise if there was a plane ticket with your name on it for a trip to any where in the world, what place would you choose? Besides visiting my in Canada lol
ReplyDeleteShadow, the hardest part to write in the books is the beginning. Nest to that is Chapter 2~~~For me the characters almost always come first. Only two exceptions: one book where I had one line and built the story around it but then even before the plot came the character of the hero, and one that I just finished revising for one of my editors that started with a Letter to the Editor.
ReplyDeleteLeanne, I started writing BDSM after reading The Ice Queen by Joey Hill. She's my inspiration. I did a lot of research, though, because I wanted to get it right. And I worked it in gradually.
ReplyDeleteAnd one more thing, shadow. My books area really character-driven. I weave the plot around them.
ReplyDeleteWatch for the release announcement kin the next few months for Joy Ride. Here's the tag: Emma was the "good girl" poster child until she met rock musician Marc_and he took her on the joy ride of her life.
ReplyDeletethats cool. how do you build a story around one line?
ReplyDeletea good girl meets a rock star? sounds hot! ill be watching for it!
ReplyDeleteThink you could write me a story about me and Jefferey Dean Morgan lol
ReplyDeletelol just think of those love sceens!
ReplyDeleteI know I want him tied up lmao

After Deanne Delacroix moves to Paris to re-think her failed career, she opens her drapes one morning to discover a delicious Frenchman in the window across the street—naked. Enthralled by his handsomeness and risqué behavior, Deanne goes above and beyond her comfort zone by offering her own wickedly naked expose. It’s not long before Deanne is pursued by the handsome Architect Andre Ferrar and discovers the joy of Parisian delights. However, a Paris Exposé can only last so long…
ReplyDeleteDidn't understand what u wanted so I put the whole blurb lmao OH and I would have given you the full 5 Cherries :D
