Celebrating The Release of Lori Foster's UNBELIEVABLE

Today we're celebrating the release of UNBELIEVABLE, a repackage of two Lori Foster classic reader favorites FANTASY and TANTALIZING!

FANTASY

SOLD! Sexy security consultant Sebastian Sinclair brought a princely sum at auction. And for the next five days he was going to be a boy toy for some rich woman. At least it was going for a worthy cause... and the woman WAS intriguing...

SOLD OUT! The LAST thing Brandi Sommers wanted was to fly off to a lover's retreat with some gorgeous mountain of a man. But Sebastian was an outrageously expensive birthday present from her dear, meddling sister, and she couldn't very well return him. Besides, SHE would be in control at all times... she thought.

TANTALIZING

Josie Jackson's sister arranges a blind date for her with Bob Morrison. Both dreaded the blind date; he expected a stuffy, matronly prude while Josie assumed that Bob would be another boring, nerdy man just as all of her sister's other fix-ups had been. Josie decides to scare off her geeky match with a red-hot outfit, hair and make up, never dreaming that her date would be a gorgeous specimen of a man capable of showing her just how sensuous she is.

The only problem is that Bob isn't Bob at all; he's Bob's business partner Nick Harris. Nick agreed to stand in for Bob because Bob is crazy about Josie's sister, Susan and doesn't want to date anyone else. Nick allows Josie to believe that he is Bob, thinking that he would continue to see her just a while longer, and then he was unwilling to stop the exquisite pleasure he has found in helping Josie lose her inhibitions. But when pleasure turns into something much deeper and Nick still hasn't told Josie the truth, he fears what her reaction will be at being deceived.

  1. Wow- this sounds great and I have not read either of these stories. I love when two novellas by the same author get placed into one book and these have similiar themes which makes it even better.

  2. Morning Lori and Happy Release Day!!!!

I agree with Maria - I love when a publisher packages up two or more stories from the same author. And I love when they give you a look at an author's earlier works, especially ones that are no longer available.

Hope you're enjoying your summer Lori and here's to UNBELIEVABLE being another bestseller for you!

  8. You are all so kind. Thank you. I always worry a little with reissues because let's face it... books can get dated. Thanks for reassuring me! I hope anyone who reads UNBELIEVABLE will enjoy it. :-)

I'm currently at the RV park, near a lake, almost no one else around, enjoying the beautiful morning. It's actually cool here for a change so I have the windows open and I can hear the birds and see the squirrels... nice atmosphere for writing.

    Have an awesome day everyone!

  14. Lori...I was at the library the other day and there was a new assistant that I started talking with. She was sharing some books she had recently read and I was doing the same. Of course I mentioned you! She...for some weird reason...had not heard of you. I gave her some guidance on my favorites from you. I went back last night and she stopped me...hugged me and thanked me...She is now a Lori Foster addict! lol Thanks for all your great stories!!! :)

  23. Thanks Amanda. You know, most of them have already been reissued, and I'm guessing any that haven't will be soon. Some have been reissued a couple of times.
I have a page on my website - www.LoriFoster.com - under "Booklists" called, "Related Books and Series," and that shows you all the related books, along with any reissued covers.
I also have a page that's strictly reissues. I hope those help!

  28. After reading this in lots of the comments, I think I should clarify that *I* don't reissue the books. That's strictly up to the publisher. I write the book, and that's about where my input ends. LOL. How it's published, where it's published, when and how soon it's reissued... all publisher decisions. I do get cover approval, but I'm not real picky so really, even that is up to the publisher. I think I've only complained about 4 covers since getting cover approval, and that's through 80+ books.
    :-)

    Happy reading all!

    Lori

  33. It's been a long time since I've read these. I remember searching long and hard for Lori's older books after reading her for the first time, and paying way too much for them on ebay. I think it's great that the publishers are re-releasing these older books.

    Congratulations Lori on these releases.

I can feel a reread coming on.....

    ReplyDelete
  34. How is the decision made of which books to reissue? I love when they're repackaged together like this.

    lenikaye@yahoo.com

    ReplyDelete
  35. Thanks everyone. :-) You're all making me feel the love. LOL

Leni, usually the publisher goes by sales. If a book tanked the first time around, it's doubtful they'll want to reissue it. But if it tanked because no one knew the author, and now the publisher is getting requests for it... good time to reissue.
If a book is still selling well in the original format (like my Kensington books in trade, that are only now coming out in mass market) then the publisher probably won't reissue.
But it's all led by money. They're businesses, and they want sales, so if the know readers want the books, they'll get them out there.

    Hugs,

    Lori
