I'm very interested in crystal healing although I know nothing about crystal skulls. I have several crystals and made a crystal pendant to wear that I love!

How did I become interested in crystal skulls? Well, way back in 1984 I started receiving spirit messages through automatic writing and one of the early messages told me to work with minerals/crystals. At that time I knew absolutely nothing about them, but I soon beagn collecting them and learning about their healing power. Then in 1997 a friend of mine asked me to help him on his stand at a Body/Mind/Spirit festival and he had several Russian quartz skulls there. Once I held them, I was hooked and started collecting them soon afterwards.
Not sure how the shape makes them different from other crystals, but somehow it does. They are definitely connected to change by either initiating it or coming into your life at a time of change. They also seem to be a tool for communicating with other dimensions and/or other life forms in the universe. I know that sounds a bit crazy, but it appears to hold true for many people who have worked with them.
How often should crystals be cleansed and what is the proper way to cleanse them?

ReplyDeleteThere isn't a special crystal for losing weight, but I would suggest you put several or all of those you have in front of you, close your eyes and ask to be shown which one would work best in helping you to lose weight. When you open your eyes one of the crystals should catch your attention in some way. It might just look brighter than the others, or seem to twinkle, or just be the one your eye is drawn to. It is showing you that it is the one that will help.
I don't think the skulls have more power than other crystals, I just think it is more focused. They are associated with change, inter-dimensional communication and, of course, they are also great healers.

ReplyDeleteThere are a number of different ways to cleanse them and they are listed in my books about crystals/crystal skulls. You may frequently see suggestions of placing them in water, salt water, or salt crystals, but this can be damaging to many that feature in a good part of the Mohs Scale of Hardness for minerals. Such crystals as Quartz, Beryl {Emerald, Aquamarine}, Topaz, Corundum {Sapphire, Ruby} and Diamond are fine in water or salt, but many others are not. A safe way to cleanse is to place the crystal in the smoke of incense or a smudge stick, or within the sound/vibration of a Tibetan bowl, or you can hold the crystal and visualize/imagine gold, or white, or rainbow light passing through it.
If a crystal has been used in a healing or helpful capacity, it should be cleansed immediately afterwards. It should also be cleansed when it first comes to you. If exposed to any negative energy, such as a quarrel, violence, sickness, death, unhappiness, it should be cleansed soon afterwards. If crystals are just placed in your home and are not being worked with, try to cleanse them every two or three weeks. Cleansing is quite an involved subject and my books give you plenty of {hopeful} information.

Are any particular crystal skulls more powerful than others or is it related to the individual/crystal relationship?

ReplyDeleteThanks! I don't really think some are more powerful than others, they just seem to work differently with different people. I do believe that the larger ones are more like group skulls, working with a number of people rather than just one. Whereas the small ones appear to be more in tune with an individual. My preference is for the clear quartz skulls, but that is just an individual choice.
