Celebrating Annie Nicholas' New Erotic Sci Fi Adventure

Today we're celebrating the release of RED DAWN, an erotic sci fi adventure from Annie Nicholas.

Annie Nicholas hibernates in the rural, green mountains of Vermont, where she dreams of different worlds, heroes, and heroines. When spring arrives the stories pour from her, in hopes to share them with the masses one day.

Mother, daughter, wife are some of the hats she happily wears while trudging after her cubs through the hills and dales. The four seasons an inspiration and muse.

You can also find Annie at Paranormal Romantics every Monday.

Assigned as an interpreter to the Cyngi, Liaison Sadie Beckit is left in the dark. Knowledge is power when dealing with multiple races of aliens but this mysterious species has chosen to withhold most of their culture and language information.

Crossing multiple star systems to the remote Cyngi world on an old space freighter, she has come to accompany Ambassador Nual back to Central Station. On their return journey the crew and passengers end up fighting for their lives.

Sadie is forced to confront her past. Difficult choices must be made and the survival of a whole race depends on her decisions. Can she abandon her heart and sacrifice the Red Dawn?

In Annie Nicholas' new erotic sci fi there are three rules - Rule number one, when living with aliens, never make assumptions. Rule number two, knowledge is power. Rule number three, don't fall in love. Sadie Beckit is about to break all three.

Where did the idea for this story come from?

You have two paranormal stories out currently - BAIT and THE OMEGAS, which do you enjoy writing most, paranormal or Sci Fi?

Hope the new book is a bestseller for you! Enjoy your party, I've got the cyber cookies in the oven and looking forward to a great time today!!

  4. I can smell those cookies. Really, I can. I've been watching what I eat and been obessing with cookies the pass two days. :)

Space operas are my first love. It's what I grew up reading. I love Larry Niven and CJ Cherryh.

With this story I wanted to create a universe filled with different life forms where humans are not on top of the food chain. Yet love can still exist between two biologically different people.

As to where it came from. I'm not sure. These characters have lived in my head for a long time but never really met until last year. LOL I know sounds crazy but other writers will understand.

  8. Hello,

I've had this on my wishlist for quite some time. I love the sound of it and it's a genre that I really enjoy.

Do you see this becoming a series? I think it could be a great set of action-packed, sexy, adventures lasting through a number of books with even more interesting characters coming out of the woodwork. Again, I'm envisioning Joss Whedon's Firefly.

  17. Never heard the term space opera before. Is it just a love story set in space? Or is there something else?

The story sounds great Annie and I love the interracial story line! What is the heat level of the story?
