CLASS REUNION by Kenzie Michaels

After being burned pretty badly by two different women in his past, Brian Vellinger has sworn off romance. Commitment-shy for the past fifteen years, he is stunned by his sudden attraction to a woman he's not seen since the last day of their senior year.

Natalie Collier thinks she's successfully put Brian Vellinger out of her mind. After harboring a secret crush all through high school and into college, she is both alarmed and thrilled when Brian makes his intentions known at their 25th class reunion.

But will she succeed in softening his casual, 'sex only' policy, or will she end up just another notch on his belt?

THE CHIEF OF ALL TIME by S.R. Howen

Medicine Man I

His comfortable existence begins to unravel when, seemingly by chance, Shannon finds himself gradually drawn into the past. Pursued by an ancient evil, he knows he can change the future, if he can survive the past.

  3. Wow what a great selection of books. I have a question for CL, can you tell me more about your Sheryl Locke Holmes series? I love mysteries and I love the idea of a woman detective. Is she a relative? How many books are in the series and how many do you plan?

    2. The Medicine Man series, is a contemporary American Indian tale, that takes the reader into the past, and gives them a view of the conflict the “modern Indian” lives with—tradition vs the modern world. The story is told through the eyes of Shannon Running Deer, once destined to fulfill a traditional healer’s role on the reservation, he left in search of money and fame in the form of a career as a highly successful surgeon. His life doesn't hold any room for the traditions of the past . . . Until he finds himself confronted with the past, and must embrace everything he left behind, if he hopes to survive.

There is a deep spiritual connection in the books, as well as an ancient paranormal evil, and time travel coupled with romance and adventure.

    4. Your book sounds great. Love the paranormal aspect of it, but the time travel is the selling point for me. Perfect cover.

  6. Oh this is great! Every one of these authors is a new-to-me-author and I love finding new authors to fall in love with.

I also love series. Can you all tell me about your series and how the books are tied together?

  8. Katie,

CL is having issues with posting. I am responding for her:

I'll be more than happy to answer your questions, Katie. Sheryl is not a relative of Sherlock, but she's as smart as him. The series is set in present day, but she gets teased about her name. If that isn't enough, her best friend's name is Dorothy Watson -- Dot Watson. lol And no Dot is not a doctor but she is a tech geek.

There are four books so far in the series -- Amber's Mysterious Death, Ruby's Deadly Secret, Opal's Disappearance, and the fourth one Dragon's Pearl.

Currently I'm working on Curse of Jade's Bluff. Gemstones are used in the titles and each one is a name of a character. Whether the character lives or dies, you'll have to read the books. There's mystery, romance and humor.
How many do I plan to write? As many as I can.

Sorry I can't answer you directly, I'm having tech issues. Where's Dot when you need her?

Oh and like Marci mentioned, Amber is currently free, a great way to start the reading the series.

    END CL comments

  9. Hi:) Thanks for hosting us today! Class Reunion is the 2nd book in a trilogy I believe we're going to name "The Anderson Chronicles". Book one is All She Ever Wanted, which was published in May 2009. The 3rd book, Off The Clock, will be released hopefully later this year.

A reader sent me an email, wanting to know about Brian the banker mentioned in ASEW, and since I'd just attended two class reunions with plot lines tossed at me every time I turned around, it just seemed natural to pick the best one and run with it. I'd written OTC the previous year, and while writing Class Reunion, 'Austin' demanded to be included. So in the span of a few weeks, I went from a sequel to trilogy, lol:)

    1. What a wonderful romantic cover for Class Reunion. There's a topic all of us can relate to. Don't you just love with a sequel grows into a trilogy?

    2. LOL....since I wrote CR last, I'm going to have to write in Natalie and Brian into a scene in Off The Clock. Amber from ASEW makes a brief appearance in this book, but they do not have to be read in any particular order, unless you want the 'grand tour' of Harmony House. Then read CR before OTC:)

  13. Speaking of covers, here's an interesting tidbit that I bet Marci doesn't even know about my covers for the Sheryl Locke Holmes series. There is one item that has been used in every single cover. Check out the covers on my author page at Wild Child -- here's the link: http://www.wildchildpublishing.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=104
