House of Doms Series

Forced to give up the woman he loves due to the jealousy and treachery of others, Darius McKade walked away from the One who would have completed him.

Ava Snow didn't always like to read. Her love for books came along at a time when she needed to get away from everyday life. Now she has a couple book cases and a storage unit with boxes full of books. Reading just about any genre will make her happy but when she got a hold of Shayla Black, Lora Leigh, Maya Banks, and Lori Foster to name a few, BDSM has become her most favorite.

Writing never crossed her mind until some very special people pushed her. Now she’s got the bug and with the encouragement of some dear friends and a wonderful family she hasn’t looked back.

Ava lives on the east coast with her two almost grown children. She loves almost all kinds of music, dancing, action and horror movies, to cook and bake. All those things centered around a good book. If she’s reading don’t interrupt you might get hurt. LOL

  2. Thank you for having me. I'm so excited and very thrilled with the response to Past Unbound.

If you can believe it I'm pretty shy until I get to know you, then watch out. :)

Past was my first foray into writing and it means a great deal to me. It comes from the heart.

Tell me what you want to know. I'll answer almost anything.

  3. Hi Ava! You're a new author for me. I love discovering new authors, how many books do you have available?

My question for you is about this House of Doms series, is it your series or your publishers series? Do you know how many books will be in the series?

    1. Hi Beckie.

Right now I only have the one book available. I'm working on the second of the series now.

The series is mine through the publisher. For now there will be three books in the series. You'll have the oh so hot Slade next and a big surprise for the third.

    1. Hi Pearl. Thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I am in the process of writing the next one. It is almost done actually. This story came from the people living in my dreams. They seem to have had something to say. Haven't always been a writer. Wasn't always a reader either. Writing only came to me a few years ago and now I've got the bug.

Well I have two authors that inspired me. Shayla Black and Lora Leigh. I absolutely love both women's writing.

  8. Hello Ava and congratulations on your new release!! I am so looking forward to reading it.

I have a two part question for you. What made you decide to write this genre and do you see yourself wrting another genre? If so, which one?

    1. Hi Rana. Thank you very much.

I really enjoy reading this particular genre. I aspect of giving control to another and trusting someone enough to not abuse that control was intriguing.

I leaning toward the paranormal genre. I have a love for vampires and werewolves. If I wrote another genre it would be that one.

I hope you enjoy the book once you get a chance to read it.

  10. Thank you.

I have a fantastic cover artist. She took my vision of the main characters and ran with it. LOL. I loved it the moment I saw it.

  12. Thank you Leni!

I don't really have a schedule. I usually write on the weekends late at night when everyone is gone to bed. I'm hoping to schedule some time during the day in the next few days to finish the next book.

  13. Hi Ava and congratulations on your very first release. I'm honored to be here to celebrate it with you.

I have a couple of questions for you. How long did it take you to write this book? And how heavy is the BDSM? I'm just starting to work into this genre and wondered.

I hope we get to celebrate many, many more release days with you. Best of luck on your career!

    1. Hi Jauri. Thank you!

If you don't count interruptions from work and kids it took me about a week to write. The kids just wouldn't leave me alone. :) The BDSM is not really heavy in this book. The next one will have a LOT more.

  14. Congrats on your launch party!
I enjoy reading bdsm (like fantasy for me). I've always wondered if authors have special research for this genre? Besides other fiction books, of course. If so, did you do any real life/hands on research? -I'm not asking personal experience, but like checking out equipment in stores or going to a club type thing??

Good luck with your release and the rest of the series!

  15. Hi Vicky!

I've done some research on the equipment and toys. Been to stores and tons of reading but I haven't been to a club, yet. It is in my future though. :)

Thank you and I hope you enjoy the story.
