BLIND ECSTASY by Desiree Holt
Tentative Club Fantasy Book One
When Johanna Devlin fell in love with Sean Devlin she thought she had it all - a man who loved her as much as she loved him and the perfect Dom for her submissive nature. On her birthday when he asked her to marry him, to wear his collar, she was sure she had it all. But the next day he disappeared and four years later he’s still missing from her life.
Except for rare visits to Club Fantasy she’s retreated from the D/s lifestyle. Then her sister insists she accept the gift of a night at Club Fantasy with a Dom who knows just how to satisfy all her sexual needs. She accepts with some reservation, especially when the dungeon master blindfolds her before taking her to the private room. Before the night is over she finds a lot more than hours of intense sexual delights.

DARK DESIRE by Desiree Holt
Tentative Club Fantasy Book Two
Risa Channing found herself stuck at one level in BDSM play and was ready for more. She asked Ruelas, the mysterious owners of Club Fantasy, to pair her with a Dom who would take her to the next level and beyond, but she got more than she expected with Master J.
The last thing Jax Schroyer expected was a woman who pushed all his buttons the way Risa did. From the moment he laid eyes on her—and hands—on her he knew one night with her would never be enough. Somehow in the few hours they’d be together he had to convince her he was the man who would always fulfill her dark desire.

Desiree has lived a life of excitement that brings the color to her writing. She was a summer fishing guide, a summer field hand where she was one of only three women working, a member of a beginning ski team that skied in competition (and no, no broken bones!). She spent several years in the music business representing every kind of artist from country singers to heavy metal rock bands. For several years she also ran her own public relations agency handling any client that interested her.
She is twice a finalist for an EPIC E-Book Award, a nominee for a Romantic Times Reviewers Choice Award, winner of the first 5 Heart Sweetheart of the Year Award at The Romance Studio, and is published by four different houses. Romance Junkies said of her work: "Desiree Holt is the most amazing erotica author of our time and each story is more fulfilling then the last."

ReplyDeleteelaing8(at)netscape(dot)net
Okay, Heather first. You'll laugh at this one. I Googled What makes a cat's coat soft and shiny? OH, and thank you for the 5 stars for Soul Dreams. I love writing it.

I'm a huge fan of Desiree's books! She's one of my very favorite authors. My question for Desiree is: what usually comes first for you, the characters or the story, or does it vary?

I love Desiree's books!! I love that she writes a variety of romantic/erotic genres! What kind of books do you like to read?
ReplyDeletesusanmplatt AT hotmail DOT com
I'm so glad you love my stories. And I love my readers! Michelle, it's hard to say, although usually it's the characters. I like to tell people I write relationship stores. Although I once wrote an entire novel and al I had to start with was lone line!
ReplyDeleteI like the sound of these stories - would you actually use a club like the one you write about? I don't think I could, even though I like reading about them :D

I'll have to check into getting the app. :)
ReplyDeleteAnother question..How do you pick character names? Do you keep a list of names you've already used so you don't use them again?
How much research do you have to do for your books?
ReplyDeletebn100candg(at)hotmail(dot)com
This series sounds awesome. I'm a fan of your books. What's your favorite genre to read?
ReplyDeletemythic021@gmail.com
bn100. Oops! Took a quick lunch break. Research depends on what I'm writing about. I live in the Texas Hill Country and I'm surrounded by ranches. The owners are very kind about letting me visit, showing me around and answering endless questions so I can get thing right. For my books like The Phoenix Agency series I go to both of my firearms instructors who are also ex-military. In my third Night Seeker book, which is set in Maine, a very nice man who is the Maine State Police P.I. officer spent an entire Sunday morning on the phone with me. I'm a fanatic about and also use the Internet as much as possible. Ex: I found a picture of the Maine State Police barracks in Houlton, Maine and used that description in my book. For me, research is half the fun. OH, and I have visited bondage clubs. Strictly as a spectator, of course!
ReplyDeleteHi Vanesse,
ReplyDeleteI think for my favorite category it's a tossup-romantic suspense and western. Next comes paranormal. Of course if I can combine all three-as in the 4th Night Seeker book I'm doing-then I'm in heaven!
If you;re just stopping by for the first time today, I want to let everyone know that a lot of what I write about in the Club Fantasy series comes from first hand observation. I try to make my stories as realistic as possible.
ReplyDeleteBelated hi, Desiree! I'm so excited to learn about your newest releases! I don't think I knew about this series--is this brand new? Does this tie back into any others you already have, or is it brand shiny new? :) Can't wait to pick these up!

Hi Desiree just stopped by to see whats new and exciting. I think your productivity is amazing. You keep putting out one terrific read after the other. Thanks for hours of enjoyment.
ReplyDelete1_trouble at msn dot com
Sounds like a great series!
ReplyDeletechey127 at hotmail dot com
Sorry. Company arrived and got sidetracked. I have been to a club like this but only as an observer. Fascinating. The series is fairly new and will be ongoing. Doesn't tie into any others. Love the newness of it.
ReplyDeleteAnd my favorite genre to read? MM. Contemporary romance, but I also love legal and political thrillers. Good change of pace for my brain.
I'm going to check once more in the morning. Then I'll let random.org pick the names for prizes. I'm giving away two t-shirts and two ebooks. Stay tuned.
ReplyDeleteI went and bought these, and just finished.I had to come back and say WOW! These were really good and hot. Can't wait for the next one :)
ReplyDeleteOh, thank you so very, very much! You made my day/week/month!
