Celebrating Two New June Releases For Nadia Aidan

Today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating two new releases for Nadia Aidan.

PLAYTIME IS OVER by Nadia Aidan

Book two in the Red Velvet Rope series.

Sonya has been in love with Joshua for the past five years and for just as long he has taken her love for granted. When she confronts him about her needs and discovers he has no intention of pursuing a serious relationship with her, Sonya ends their affair.

Playtime is over.
Brokenhearted, Sonya sheds everything that reminds her of her life with Joshua. In the process she discovers the depths of her true nature and awakens inner sexual yearnings she never knew she possessed, as well as a painful past she thought long buried.

Old hurts and dark secrets cloud Sonya’s and Joshua’s every interaction, threatening to tear them apart forever. But Joshua refuses to allow Sonya to walk away from him again. She has long held his heart, but now he willingly surrenders his body to her - a sexual Dominant submitting to his submissive. It’s something Joshua has never done for any woman, and never Sonya, but he’s determined to do anything to win Sonya’s love, no matter the cost.

THE WINGED SERPENT by Nadia Aidan

The Order of the Oath Book One

Aurora rose to fame and gained her freedom as a gladiatrix in the arena and is now a prominent member of The Order of Hesperia - a secret alliance of female spies and assassins. When she is given a very dangerous mission she believes it will be as easy as all her other assignments, but she is wrong.
Cyrus is one of the most legendary gladiators within The Empire, yet he remains a slave. When rumors spread of a plot to assassinate his master, Claudius Norbanus, Cyrus is enlisted by him as both his master’s spy and personal guard. If he succeeds in catching the assassin, Cyrus will gain his freedom.
When Aurora joins Claudius’ household as a gladiatorial slave, Cyrus is less than thrilled. The last thing he needs is a woman who matches his skills and stirs his passions. When Aurora enters Claudius’ household, the last thing she expects is to be drawn to Cyrus, a man who barely treats her with polite disdain. With every measure of her will, she denies the passion growing between them, masking it with animosity; because the last thing she needs is to desire a man such as Cyrus, who is honorable and loyal to his master.
Long days and nights spent in a ludus battling their attraction come to wear upon them until their resentment gives way to something more. Yet their affair is destined to meet a bitter end, for unbeknownst to them they are also enemies with cross purposes…

  1. Both of these books sound really good! I went to your website and quite a few off those books look familiar. You seem to write a variety of genres. The West Coast sounds nice, I hear that they having better weather than those of us towards the East Coast. I am so envious that you have been scuba diving. I don't like the water like that, but just seeing the fish and whats down there sounds beautiful!

Do you have a favorite that you like to read or write?

Thank you for a chance to win something from you.

  2. I love these types of books. And I agree with the shows, I always loved Xena, Buffy and other shows with kick ass females. Have you seen the new show Lost Girl? There's another strong female...a succubus even.

  5. Congrats on the release of both books. They booth sound really good, but I really like the sound of PLAYTIME IS OVER. My questions really have to do with this one. Do you have an idea of how many books will be in this series? Should the books be read in order or can I read this one and go back to the first? I am definitely putting these on my wishlist. :)

  11. Congrats on your new releases! Oh wow two books at once. Did you write them at the same time or one after the other? I think it would be hard to keep up writing two at the same time.
