Celebrating The Reissue Of Lori Foster's THE WATSON BROTHERS

Today we're celebrating the re-release of THE WATSON BROTHERS. Reissued by popular demand, this single-author anthology from Lori Foster had a very limited first release exclusively for Walmart in the fall of 2008.

THE WATSON BROTHERS contains the stories of Sam, Gil, and Pete Watson. My House, My Rules, Bringing Up Baby, and Good With His Hands.

My House, My Rules - Tough, rugged cop Sam Watson has a reputation for being a hero on the job and delivering mind-blowing pleasure in the bedroom. But the only woman who drives him over the edge is the one who's completely wrong for him - the sweetly sexy and extremely determined Ariel. When Ariel's headstrong ways nearly wreck one of Sam's string operations - ruining her alluring dress in the process - Sam offers her a ride to his place to clean up. But once there, Ariel seems to have her own agenda, and Sam decides it's time to show the lady that if she wants to play games of seduction, he'll be calling the shots, turning her every fantasy into a night of unimagined bliss.

Bringing Up Baby - Gil Watson has always been the responsible one, running the family business and keeping his brothers out of trouble. Of course there was that one wild night on a business trip... the one that resulted in a daughter he never knew he had. By the time Gil finds out about her, the little girl's mother is already gone. Gil is determined to do the right thing, even if it means a marriage of convenience with the woman who's been raising his baby. Anabel Truman is sarcastic, free-spirited, and totally wrong for him. But the sensations she rouses in him feel totally right - stirrings that have nothing to do with being good and everything to do with being very, very naughty. Once Gil gets unbuttoned, there's no going back.

Good With His Hands - As next-door neighbors and best friends, Pete Watson and Cassidy McClannahan have a "no sex" relationship. "No sex" equals continuing friendship. "Ohmygodyes" sex equals big problems and probably some serious dish throwing. It may be a rigid rule, but it works. Until Pete decides he wants to push the line. If sensible Cassidy won't take his hints, he's ready to transform himself into the perfect "black tie" guy he thinks she wants. And once she's in his arms, he'll show her just what else that black tie can do...

  1. Morning Lori! And super congrats on the reissue of THE WATSON BROTHERS!! I remember when this released and I know a lot of your fans weren't able to get a hold of a copy because of the very limited release, so I'm really glad they didn't wait too long to reissue this one!

I am loving your t-shirt project - what a great idea! I can see you're having a ball with it.(readers can learn more about Lori's T-shirt project at www.runningwithquills.com on Lori's last post on Thursday the 29th).

Have fun today and I hope The Watson Brothers is another huge bestseller for you!

  2. I love this series I've read them a couple of times. I'm not sure which brother I like best though they were all so great. Have you ever thought about doing more stories with some of your characters from your older books? I would love to read more about the Watson brothers, the people from Visitation and Noah and Grace from Too Much Temptation. I love your books and have reread a lot of them more than once. I can't wait to see any new books you have this year.

  13. Thanks everyone. Sam is one of my all-time favorite heroes. :-) If you read his story, let me know what you think.

Sherry, I wrote a novella that tied in with Noah and Grace, Ben and Sierra, Kent and Brooke. It was about Kent's daughter and sort of updated you on everyone. :-)

As to revisiting the other characters... one day I want to do stories for Joe Winston's kids, but I don't know when that'll be. Not for awhile. I'm busy working on a fun series and the books will come out back to back in 2011 - May, June and July. :-)

  19. It's been a while since I read this series. I loved it and Sam is one of my favorite hero's that you've written. I think him and Ariel make such a great couple. I'm going to have to reread this series so that I can remember it a little more. I know I've already posted once but I just wanted to stop by again. I've read the story about Kent's daughter and Levi and I thought it was very good. I think I have all of your books that you've published in the 5 years maybe more. I don't have some of your first books that was in the Temptation line though. I think that I'm addicted to your books. I love to reread them because they always have such a great story and most of them make me laugh out loud. The only books that I haven't read are your LL Foster books although I have bought a couple of them.

  21. Sherry, thank you so much. I'm flattered. :-)
Most of the earlier books from Harlequin have been reissued. I have a page on my website dedicated strictly to reissues, and on the "Related Books and Series" page you can see all the covers for the same book, and books that are tied together in one way or another.
Readers tell me it's very helpful.

Gale, thank you. Shelia Clover, from COS Productions made that truly adorable video. I love it!

    Hugs to all,

Lori - who is trying to work on the next "benefit" anthology, but not making too much headway.

  33. I actually have the Bad Boys version and the one from Walmart - Found it last week when I was digging for books to take to the RWA signing. I love the Watsons, I'm sure others will too. QLady48 have you read the Winstons (not to be confused with the Watsons) - if not, I certainly recommend them. Lori thanks for fun, sexy books. I have my site all picket out for my TShirt picture - can't wait.

  52. A cousin for the Watsons... interesting! :-) But I'm with a different publisher right now, and they frown on mixing things up, so I'll have to wait. LOL

Book trailers... you know, they get used in other places, like they play on a big screen at the RT convention during the signing and things like that. They add content to your website so that if anyone IS interested, they can get an idea of - if not exactly what the book is about, at least the tone of the book.
So... if you get a good deal and you can find a way to do the trailer so that it's the same old, same old, then it's a good idea.
Otherwise, your promotion dollars are better spent elsewhere, imo.

Thanks everyone for the comments! We left mid day today to head out to the RV park with our grandson. We got here and had dinner, then went to swim for what felt like forever, then ice cream and a camp fire, and soon we'll be settling in to watch a kiddie movie. I LOVE to get out in our RV. It's parked by a lake but there's also a pool, and tons of great playgrounds.

Hope everyone else is having a great start to their week! :-)
