Celebrating Two New Releases From Kerri Nelson

Today we're celebrating two new "Christmas Around The World" stories from Kerri Nelson and Whispers Publishing - EVE OF THE DRAGON and THE MYSTICAL KILT!

Kerri Nelson has always been passionate about reading books but when she wrote her first poem in the second grade, she discovered her love of writing. At the age of sixteen, she became a columnist for her local newspaper as the high school correspondent for the weekly "Panther Tales" column. She won the Outstanding Young Journalist of the Year Award for her efforts.
After an education and career in the legal field, Kerri began to pen romantic suspense novels with a legal or law enforcement theme. She currently lives in the sunny south with her romance inspiring husband and her adorable children. When she's not reading or writing, you'll find her baking homemade goodies for her family. Kerri is an active member of Romance Writers of America, Southern Magic Romance Writers, Hearts Through History Romance Writers, Celtic Hearts Romance Writers, and Futuristic Fantasy & Paranormal Romance Writers.

Kerri is one of the proud authors to make it to the Final Five of Dorchester Publishing's America's Next Best Celler Contest that has been ongoing via Text Novel.com since June of 2009 and the winner of the Manic Reader and NAL/Signet Reader's Choice Award for her book SOUL SEARCHER released in the fall of 2009 from Whispers Publishing.

When college student Chloe Griffith elects to spend her Christmas break backpacking through the Fuji mountains of Japan, she has no clue that she's about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime.

During Chloe's first day of hiking near the village of Ginowan, she watches as a fierce Asian warrior slays a dragon to save his village. Fascinated by the extreme turn of events, she stays in the village to learn more about this dark, sexy warrior.

She soon learns that the village is caught in a time warp and that the warrior is doomed to repeat the same battle every single night.

Chloe must find a way to help the village and save her lover. Will the magic of Christmas be enough to break this ancient curse?

THE MYSTICAL KILT

What happens when a twenty first century shop girl is transported to the sixteenth century Highlands on Christmas Eve? Will her holiday season be ruined? Or will this be the Christmas blessing that she's been dreaming of?

  1. Good morning Kerri!!!

And happy release day! Both of these Christmas stories sound fantastic! I love historical romances and when combined with fantasy and contemporary heroines, they're one of my favorite reads! What modern day woman wouldn't want a dark sexy warrior from a time gone by?

You've had one busy December with FOUR releases this month, right? These two and a shifter story called VEGAN MOON (which sounds fantastic) and WHEN GINGER SNAPS, a romantic comedy. Perfect Christmas read to de-stress with!

Congrats also on the contest - Woo Hoo - good luck in the final month!!!

I wish you the best of luck with all four of your releases and in the contest - hope to be celebrating a big win for you soon!
