Seriously, I think it's really refreshing that publishers are accepting a wider range of genres and styles. I really don't believe in "dumbing down" to one template for all readers - readers deserve more!

Well-worn themes? Well, I know vampires seemed to have exhausted their welcome, but there are still excellent ones out there. I think a good author can give any tired theme a new lease of life. It got me to thinking about putting two seemingly unrelated things together. My question is, what is the most interesting or strangest combination of concepts you have ever seen in a book or movie? I also had an earlier release with JMS Books this year, Unavailable: One Lesbian's Struggle with the Bisexuality of Other Women.

Second Best Fantasy is the story of Maggie O'Leary, who falls hopelessly in love with Janine Jordan, and up and coming bisexual rockstar. It was a real delight to be able to include such a variety of stories, but they all have a few things in common: the British GLBT theme, they're all romantic (to varying degrees), and they're all superb :)

It was also wonderful to meet all the authors involved last weekend and have my paperback copy signed by them all.

My own contribution is in there - it's a contemporary m/m story with a narrator who has such a strong voice, he completely took over and narrated the whole thing to me. You have a good selection featured here of the range of books offered.

I'm Clare London and I write m/m romance and erotica. I have a short story featured in the "Tea and Crumpet" book released this month. I was also involved in organising and editing the submissions, so I *know* what a great selection of fiction it contains :). It's even more special because it marks the launch of the UK Meet for GLBTQ fiction that took place earlier this month in Milton Keynes, UK. The organisers would love to raise the profile of our fiction in the UK in future years - and we had a lot of fun too :).Clare Londonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09392142798976142547noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2799451507801345644.post-78019975644501347782011-07-29T09:14:47.454-04:002011-07-29T09:14:47.454-04:00Good morning and welcome to JMS Books and all the ...Good morning and welcome to JMS Books and all the authors of this month's fantastic releases!

Please stop in and tell us a bit more about your book and let us know how we can learn more about you and your work.

What a great selection of books you have out this month!
