Celebrating Sandy Sullivan's New Montana Cowboys Release

Today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating Sandy Sullivan's sexy new cowboy menage, DIFFICULT CHOICES!

DIFFICULT CHOICES by Sandy Sullivan

Montana Cowboys Book Four

Delaney Dunn likes working on cars - anything with an engine really, much to the chagrin of some who can't put aside her choice of jobs to realize there is a real woman beneath those coveralls. When ex-boyfriend Jake Monroe comes back to town, Delaney must face the feelings she buried five years ago.

Jake Monroe is back for two reasons, Colby Mason and Delaney Dunn. Needs he's long denied have risen up and are threatening to choke the life out of him if he doesn't come to terms with his feelings for both.

Colby Mason refuses to face the facts. He loves Delaney and he wants Jake. After being the shoulder for Delaney when Jake took off five years ago, their relationship grew into something loving and concrete, but Jake's return shakes the foundation to it's core.

Can three friends become lovers and learn to embrace their true feelings without tearing everything they've worked for apart?

  1. Congrats on the new release Sandy!! It sounds like a really great emotional read. What more can you tell us about it?

For those not familiar with your Montana Cowboys Series, can you tell us all about it and how the books connect? Should they be read in order? And how many more do you plan for this series?

I hope you enjoy your cyber launch party and I hope DIFFICULT CHOICES is your biggest seller yet!

  2. Love this series. Just downloaded Difficult Choices. BTW Jude Deveraux was the author who convinced me that there were romances worth reading.

  5. Hi Shadow,

The whole story was an emotional roller coaster to write. Lots of back and forth between the characters. I think the part I enjoyed the most was the interaction between the characters as they came to terms with their feelings for each other.

  11. Thanks everyone for stopping by.

Fedora ~ I had to research some of motorcycle stuff since I'm not up on Harley's and Jake rides one. I had to get that down with the sound and the description. The other stuff just came from what I already know and love about cowboys.

  13. Congratulations on the book! What was your inspiration for writing a heroine that works with cars?

  14. Hi bn100.

Thanks for stopping by. I like my heroines to be a little different than the normal heroine and when Delaney started talking to me, she said she is a mechanic. My dad was a diesel mechanic for years and I kind of liked doing some body work myself. It was fun and different. I just fit the persona of my heroine so I went with it.

  15. Congratulations on your release! Your covers always pull me in long before I see the blurb, excerpt, or anything about it. This book was no different it sounds amazing, thank you for sharing the blurb and excerpt.

Two For The Price of One, sounds like it would be a good book as well.

Is there any genre you haven't wrote about that you would like to, or is there a genre you don't want to write?

  16. Hi Tiffany,

Thank you for the compliment on the covers. They are pretty cool.

I stick mostly with cowboys as they are my favorite, but I have written a short M/M under Ree Alexander for Secret Cravings Publishing as well. I wrote a short paranormal shifter story before and I'd like to do another one at some point. It was pretty fun. I haven't written anything in several genres and I think I need to spread my wings a little. I think we all need to challenge ourselves to grow as writers.

    Thanks for stopping by!

  17. Sandy: What kind of research did you do, if any, for this book? When you write about a location, do you travel there to get a feel for the area?
