A Super Hot New Release For Stacey Kennedy

Today at our Cyber Launch Party, we're celebrating a steaming hot new release for Stacey Kennedy!

Stacey's novels are light-hearted fantasy with heart squeezing, thigh-clenching romance, and even give a good chuckle every now and again.

Her journey as a writer began as a way to keep her brain alive since being a stay at home mom can sometimes be a little...let's say numbing. It was an escape from screaming kids, dirty diapers and plain old mom duty.

It started as a hobby, but as the stories progressed it became a passion. Now, Stacey indulges at nap time, especially the juicy bits! Every mom needs a good thrill!

SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN by Stacey Kennedy

U.S. Marshal, Wyatt Tanning is in a race to catch a serial killer who has evaded the authorities. Just as the case hits a dead end, an unexpected email gives him a lead. As much as he wants to share the surprising message with his lover, Rye Daniels, he must hunt a killer first.

Darby Grant never expected that one night would change her life forever, but that's exactly what happened. Not only has she been abducted, but she is in a situation that nightmares are made of.

As she begins to lose all hope, fate steps in to offer her aid, but she’s well aware things will never be the same again. Soon, though, Darby begins to realize that might not be such a bad thing...

  2. WOO HOO! Cyber party time!

Somewhere in Between is the sequel to Takedown, where Wyatt and Rye meet through the matchmaking services of Madame Eve. That story is m/m. This one, adds a woman into the fun. So not only do you get a steamy m/m scene between the boys, but you also get a sizzle menage scene. *fans self* Yes, this was a scorcher to write.

On October 11th, BIND ME from Loose ID will release. It's a BDSM novella that's lots of fun!

I also have to new releasing coming soon. SUPERNATURALLY KISSED will release with Ellora's Cave soon, and I also have WEREWOLVES BE DAMNED with Entangled Publishing coming in April 2012.

Lots of fun reads in the next year! Thanks everyone for stopping by today and celebrating the release of SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN!

  4. Congratulations on the new release!
My question is simple yet complex:) What inspires you Stacey?

  5. elaing8 - I squealed when I saw the cover. It's smokin'! I absolutely loved it!

Somewhere is Between is a standalone story, but I'd recommend reading Takedown first so you can see how the boys met!

    :)

  6. Annie - Thanks! The easiest answer, is everything! Usually it's the characters that inspire me. I'll write story that will introduce new characters that make me want to write their life. But honestly, inspiration is all over the place! :)

  7. I already have Takedown so winning this would be great! What made you decide to give the men a third person in their relationship? Thanks for the giveaway.

  9. Hi Stacey!!

  12. congrats on your new release! You've written many books with young ones at home and it seems like nap time isn't enough time for you to write all this! Is your hubby supportive and takes care of the kids/house so you can write?

  14. That is one hot cover. Hope the contents are as hot.

  15. Jen B - It was Wyatt who decided to add another character into the mix. I knew halfway through writing Takedown that Somewhere in Between would happen. :)

  16. Donna - No research! You just dig down deep into that naughty place in your mind that usually stays hidden. Then you write. LOL! :)

  17. Leslie - My husbands response is "Yeah, she's my wife." LOL! He loves it! I write erotic romance to give me a break from my longer pieces. It's just all around fun and it's nice to get naughty once in a while! :)

  18. Deborah R - Right now, I doubt I'll be writing anymore. My focus will break away from erotic romance since I have a whole bunch of Urban Fantasy Romances that will come out over the next couple years. :)

  19. Anonymous - We got lots of input on our covers. I wasn't quite sure what I wanted on it--but needed all three of the characters on there. The end result amazed me! It's so sexy!!

  20. books4me - Yes, my hubby is SUPER supportive. If I'm under deadlines on edits, or things such as that, he always steps in to take the kids away for the day so I can work. He's the best!

  21. ilona- Sadly, no. This will be my last U.S. Marshal story. I usually write urban fantasy/paranormal romance, and this one was just for fun, but I loved my time with these characters!

  22. Congrats on your newest release! It sounds great and the cover is hot! What are you planning on writing next? Is there a genre that you havent tried yet that you would like to? Thanks for sharing and for the giveaway!

  23. Congrats on your new release! What's your favorite part of writing?

  24. Shadow--Nothing new for me for the next little bit. I'm up to my eyeballs in edits and that's taking up all of my time. But I have a paranormal romance that I'm dying to dive back into so hopefully I'll be able to get to it soon.

  25. greenduckie--my favorite part is writing the first draft. I don't plot my stories, so the process is much like reading. I can't wait to find out what happens next.

  26. Stacey, I just know this will be another winner.

  28. Ooh, intriguing, Stacey! You mentioned that this is a sequel--do you think this concludes the story for these characters, or do you see revisiting them in the future?

  29. Congrats on your new release.

I'm just discovering your work & looked at your website to see what I wanted to read out of your backlist & was intrigued by "First and Last" which says it's The Magical Sword Book 4, but I couldn't find books 1-3 on there. Are they available somewhere? I hate reading series books out of order.

  30. flchen1 - Sadly, this concludes their stories. Darby in Somewhere in Between was the final piece to their puzzle. I'll miss these boys!

  31. Kathryn Merkel - The Magical Sword series is actually being re-released with Entangled Publishing. The first book Werewolves Be Damned (formally The Willow) will come out in April 2012. You can find the information about it here - http://www.staceykennedy.com/the-huge-news-ive-been-dying-to-share/
