Sandy is a romance author, who, when not writing, spends her time with her husband Shaun on their farm in middle Tennessee. She loves to ride her horses, play with their dogs and relax on the porch, enjoying the rolling hills of her home south of Nashville. County music is a passion of hers and she loves to listen to it while she writes. She is an avid reader of romance novels and enjoys reading Nora Roberts, Jude Deveraux and Susan Wiggs. Finding new authors and delving into something different helps feed the need for literature. A registered nurse by education, she loves to help people and spread the enjoyment of romance to those around her with her novels. She loves cowboys so you'll find many of her novels have sexy men in tight jeans and cowboy boots.

ReplyDeleteI like the sound of your new book and am heading over to read the excerpt now.
I mean who doesn't love cowboys??? Love that we're seeing more of them!
Can you tell us a bit more about your new book and the Want Ads Series?
Best of luck with the new release - hope it's a huge seller for you!
Your book sounds soooo yummy, Sandy! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is the first in a series that to some extent, revolves around a want ad in the news paper. This first piece is when Ann Marie advertises for a horse trainer to tame her stallion to race.
ReplyDeleteThe second piece is about Ann Marie's sister, Kelly. Her's starts with an ad for a model in the newspaper and she's wanted to be a model since she was small.

I loved your Wilder Series....my own love affair with cowboys
ReplyDeletewhere do you get your sexy cowboy inspiration? Rodeo? or do you live in cowboy land?
respectfully a fan
seachele71@hotmail.com
Hi Chele,
ReplyDeleteI live in Middle Tennessee so I guess you could consider it cowboy land. LOL As for inspiration, it comes from seeing them on the street, listening to my favorite country artist, Clay Walker (he's such a doll and wow for inspiration), rodeo's, etc. I can turn just about anyone into a cowboy.

On my list to buy, Sandy!
ReplyDeleteThank so much, Lizzie.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
~ Sandy
I too loved your Wilder series. I do like your cowboys. Keep em coming.

ReplyDeleteDanielle ~ Thank you!
Fedora ~ I don't have a set number of books for this one. All I know is three for now, but beyond that, who knows.

Yay, Sandy! I love that cover. What a beautiful black horse. Of course, the hunk isn't bad either. lol

Hi, Sandy.
ReplyDeleteHow long does it take to create a book cover, on average?
I look forward in reading this series.
Thanks,
Tracey D
booklover0226 at gmail dot com
Tracey ~ It's not creating the cover that takes so long, it's finding the right pictures. You can go for hours searching through picture after picture. Putting together the cover itself, does take long at all. At least for me.
ReplyDelete~ Sandy
Congrats on your new release!
ReplyDeleteWhose music did you listen to while you wrote Gotta Love A Cowboy?
kissinoak at frontier dot com
It's going to be fun to see these two work through the barriers that they've put it.
ReplyDeletelenikaye@yahoo.com
Estella ~ I listen to Clay Walker, Garth Brooks, Jason Michael Carroll, Bryan Adams, Journey and whoever else is on my IPOD. Clay is a great inspiration.
ReplyDeleteLeni ~ It was definitely interesting to watch those two work through things. They have to overcome quite a bit.

Hi Sandy. I just received the FB invite and came on over. I'm a country fan also....old country. Loretta Lynn, GEORGE JONES, TAMMY WYNETTE, Conway Twitty and so on...

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, Deborrah.
ReplyDeleteJen ~ I haven't read anyone new lately, but I read more of the Rough Riders series by Lorelei James and Shadowland Masters by Cherise Sinclair. I love Lily Graison's Wicked Series. Tonya Ramagos' Sports Beats. If something catches my eye, I'll read it.
~ Sandy
Sandy, I wish you huge success with your new release. I know everyone will love this story.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, Sarah. You guys are awesome for support!
ReplyDelete~ Sandy
Gotta Love a Cowboy sounds good. What other genres would you like to write? Is there anything you wouldn't write?
ReplyDeletesmg5775@yahoo.com
I've written light BDSM and also a menage. I don't think I could do justice to a F/F, but I'd like to do another shifter piece. I did a short one for a Halloween Anthology.
ReplyDelete~ Sandy
